Ubisoft
Event Planning, Construction, Operation & PR

We were responsible for all aspects of the “Assassin’s Creed SHADOWS Showcase in Kyoto,” held in Kyoto on February 6, 2025, for Ubisoft, including planning, direction, design, construction, operation, and PR.
To authentically bring the world of “Assassin’s Creed SHADOWS” to life, we held a premium event for media representatives and invited guests at Minami-za Theatre in Kyoto, Japan’s oldest theater with over 400 years of history.
We produced a unique and exclusive experience where Japanese tradition and a cutting-edge game came together.

Scope of Implementation

At the venue, we deployed multifaceted promotional and PR initiatives, boosting fan engagement while supporting powerful information dissemination both domestically and internationally.

Stage Events

・Live painting performance by Yoichi WAKUI, who created the ink paintings featured in the game
・Kagura performance by IWAMIKAGURA BANRAI
・Talk sessions and live gameplay featuring the voice cast
・Surprise appearance by actor Mackenyu, who appears in the game as a character

Experiences & Exhibitions

・A hands-on demo area offering early access to the game prior to release
・Exhibitions of related artwork and merchandise capturing the essence of the game’s world
・A photo spot featuring cosplayers portraying the game’s two protagonists
・A ceremonial sake offering during Kagami-biraki (a traditional Japanese ritual in which a sake barrel is opened to celebrate an auspicious occasion)

Our Role

・Planning: Development of event direction and program flow leveraging the unique setting of Minami-za Theatre.
・Spatial Design & Construction: Venue setup that balanced the preservation of a historic building with the immersive recreation of the game’s world.
